Lights by Jack Dorning
Are not visible in the depths of the ocean
Where nature is uninterrupted and calm
Or in the bowels of dense uncharted jungles
Where industrious insects farm
Are they needed on towering mountains
That are covered in glistening snow ?
Or on the mysterious , distant planets
But will we ever know ?
They say , there is light at the end of the tunnel
Will we ever venture that far ?
All that is needed in the blackest night time
Is our solitary guiding star
Are lights essential to enhance reality
Or do they already abound ?
Igniting in every single of us
When love and understanding are found...
