Jim Taylor was born in Scunthorpe. He is a retired Primary School headteacher and has lived in the North-East and Lincolnshire and now lives in Rossendale Lancashire.
He has been writing for over thirty years and is the Chairman of the Irwell Writers' Workshop group in Bury.
Jim has had many poems published in magazines and anthologies. He has also been successful in winning prizes and awards in local and national poetry competitions.
