I am retired dairy herd manager, now living in Rufford, West Lancs and I've written as a hobby for around 30 years with occassional success at publication. I have now also succeeded in winning the 2022 Batty Cup from the Lancashire Authors Association for a free verse poem: On The Verdant Banks of the Ribble. In addition I've published a short collection of poems: The Dream and the Flowers. Other interests include music, photography and gardening.
