About the Author

Maureen Fenton, who lives in Clitheroe, Lancashire, UK, is a creative writing tutor and events facilitator who has published poems in various local anthologies. She also had a poem in 'Places of Poetry' (Oneworld Publications, 2020) and has had a short story broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Much of her recent poetry has focused on Wales, as she has been taking a 'Poetry walk round Wales' over the past several years. Her liminal-themed poem features Llanystumdwy, a village near Criccieth on the Llyn peninsula. She is a member of Ribble Valley Stanza and of Clitheroe Writing Group
